Carissa Mirasol Nee joined the Wolves coaching staff in 2025 and works primarily with the U12 team. She brings a strong background in competitive play and youth development, as well as experience mentoring young athletes in both school and club programs.

About Carissa:

A Fairfax High School graduate, Carissa was a multi-sport athlete in field hockey, lacrosse, and indoor track before continuing her field hockey career at Cornell University. At Cornell, she was a four-year starter, a three-time First-Team All-Ivy League honoree, and became only the second All-American in program history, earning Second-Team National All-American honors in 2001. She finished her career ranked among Cornell’s all-time leaders in scoring and assists.

Carissa was inducted into the Fairfax High School Hall of Fame in 2010. After graduation, she coached at the Potomac School and with Beyond Sticks, and has spent the last few years supporting her children’s athletic pursuits in field hockey, lacrosse, and ice hockey. She is excited to share her knowledge and passion with the Wolves community.
