Profile

Claire Trilling has been playing field hockey since high school. She graduated from Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School in 2015, where she was a three-year varsity starter for her field hockey team and was a captain her senior season. Claire also won the Raymond Locke Foundation Unsung Hero Award and was an All-Gazette second team selection in 2014.

She then went on to play field hockey at Tufts from 2015-18. During her time at Tufts, she was a member of the 2016 team that won the program’s first NESCAC Championship since 2009 and advanced to the NCAA Championship game, where they fell in penalty strokes to Messiah. In 2017, she finished sixth on the team in points with nine. In 2018, Claire and the Jumbos had an overall record of 19-3, finishing the season with a NCAA Championship appearance but coming up short against Middlebury.

Claire majored in international relations and anthropology at Tufts. Claire is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science at Johns Hopkins. We are so excited to have another experienced Wolf on our coaching staff! Claire works primarily with our U16 and U19 teams.
