A graduate of the University of Maryland, Sarah Holliday is a Washington Wolves alumna and has been our goalie coach for several year. She is has now transitioned into to a role where she will be supporting on coach development and parent relations for the Wolves remotely. Sarah’s previously coaching experience serving as a volunteer coach for the Terps, working primarily with their goalies, and has been training multiple national-level goalies at the junior, college and masters levels. 

As  a player, Sarah was a standout goalie for Maryland. In her senior in 2018, she started 22 games and notched 5 shutouts en route to a Big Ten championship and advancing to the NCAA Championship game. She also earned All-Big Ten Academic honors.

Before Maryland: Played four years of varsity field hockey at the Bullis School where she was named team MVP in 2013, All-League in 2012 and 2013, and All-Met in 2013  While playing for the Washington Wolves club team, the team was named the No. 1 Maryland indoor team in 2011, No. 8 in the nation in 2013, and won their pool at Festival in 2013.  Sarah was named to the Junior Olympic team in 2013, Futures Elite selection in 2014, and was a member of the first place Futures Elite championship team in 2014.
