Profile

Tess Queen joined the Wolves coaching staff in summer 2022, coaching our summer camps and clinics.

A long-time member of the Wolves, Tess brings a wealth of coaching and and playing experience to our coaching staff. She was a four-year member of the Syracuse Orange, where she started in 57 of the 70 games she played in (starting in all 35 games her freshman and sophomore seasons) and recorded 22 career points as a midfielder, with four goals and 14 assists, thanks to her consistent role in the team’s offensive corner unit.

Tess was a standout, four-year member of the Middletown High School varsity team. During her time there, she was a two-time Central Maryland Conference Champion, helper team to a 37-21-1 record during four seasons, was named Rookie of the Year in 2014 and was awarded Most Dependable Midfielder as a sophomore. Tess was also a two-time team Most Valuable Player (2016, 2017), was invited to both the Maryland Senior Game and Frederick County All-Star Game in 2017 and was named Frederick County All-Area and All-Piedmont First Team from 2014-16. Tess was also a long-time member of the Washington Wolves, competing at the National Club Championships in 2017 and 2018 with the U19 team.

Tess majored in nutrition in the David B. Falk College of Sport and Human Dynamics. Using her experiences as a student-athlete, a volunteer in the community, and her passion for dietetics, she is currently completing a Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine’s Dietetic Internship.
