U19 Team

Our oldest and most accomplished group of athletes, the U19 team is ready for another successful year of competition, recruitment, and personal success. We have a mix of players that are either committed to play field hockey at the college level or continue to have a passion for field hockey but have chosen to play at the club level in college. Our current commitments include Longwood, Lafayette, LIU, Sacred Heart, Bellarmine, Franklin & Marshall, Haverford, William & Mary, St. Louis, York and Hofstra.

In the fall, all of our U19s will compete for their high school varsity field hockey teams, serving as captains, leaders and starters on their teams. We look forward to seeing them compete head-to-head in high school games, and the impact they will make on their teams. Then, they will compete in a local outdoor tournament in preparation for the Shooting Star Thanksgiving tournament in Virginia at the end of November.

In the winter, they will then transition into indoor, playing in several local tournaments, looking to qualify at the National Indoor Qualifier in January for the National Indoor Tournament. During the indoor season, we will also step outside for a second, and attend outdoor showcases in Florida. We will send a combined U16/U19 team to the Winter Escape Showcase, where last year they went 5-0 in pool play, before sending a U19 team to the Sunshine Showcase. Last year, the team finished second in the Hook bracket!

After the indoor season is completed, we will move back outside for the spring season. The team will head to the Shooting Star Easter Showcase at the beginning of April before competing at the Region 7 Club Championships at the end of May looking to qualify for nationals in the summer.
