U19 Team

Our oldest and most accomplished group of athletes, the U19 team is ready for another successful year of competition, recruitment, and personal success. We have a mix of players that are either committed to play field hockey at the college level or continue to have a passion for field hockey but have chosen to play at the club level in college. Our current commitments include Longwood, Lafayette, LIU, Sacred Heart, Bellarmine, Franklin & Marshall, Haverford, William & Mary, St. Louis, York and Hofstra.

In the fall, all of our U19s competed for their high school varsity field hockey teams, serving as captains, leaders and starters on their teams. This meant that they often competed head-to-head in high school games but we always came back together on the weekends for practices. After competing in a local outdoor tournament, we sent two teams to the Shooting Star Thanksgiving tournament in Virginia.

In winter, we attended several indoor tournaments , including the National Indoor Tournament qualifier in January. During the indoor season, we also attended outdoor showcases in Florida. We sent a combined U16/U19 team to the Winter Escape Showcase, which went 5-0 in pool play, before sending a U19 team to the Sunshine Showcase where we finished second in the Hook bracket. 

With the indoor season complete, we have moved back outside for the spring season. Our schedule will consists of local tournaments at different colleges/universities. The team will head to the Shooting Star Easter Showcase at the beginning of April before competing at the Region 7 Club Championships the end of May, where they hope to qualify for nationals.
